Re-branding
Ava’s Cupcakes was looking to franchise their brand, so they reached out to MGH to help develop an updated branding suite with a fresh look that was bolder, newer, and more modern looking. I helped design a suite of brand assets that included a custom word-mark for their name and logo, as well as various patterns, badges, and illustrations.

To fill out the branding, I created a set of characters that represent actual menu options at Ava’s, drawn in a style reminiscent of New Yorker Cartoons. These could be used on merchandise, signage, or in-store experiences for added personality.
